I am a mother of two young kids and a bit of a tech geek who enjoys crafts. Me, my kids and their father lives in a pretty big town in Sweden, which means pretty small town anywhere else.
All family, including my parents, shares my interest in the 3D printing art. I enjoy the design process and they have loads of cool new ideas which always challenge me to get more creative and better at this hobby. My biggest consumer is probably my dad who has a large model train diorama. He has crafted quite a lot himself and I hope to convince him to share some of his crafts here too in the future.
My kids are ofc also a huge inspiration and source of endless ideas of what to do next. At times they have a little bit too much faith in my abilities but we discuss until we come to an agreement on what's possible and not.
I grew up in the countryside, an only kid in a big house a bit outside the village. Back then it was easy to find peace and quiet which is slightly more of a challenge with two active kids and a hectic work environment. With the 3D design hobby I get to focus and calm my thoughts, which helps me to relax…plus it's an awesome hobby since it's an endless source of time consuming crafts for the kids to enjoy :)
