How to print and assemble

All furniture except the upper part of the pastry display counter can be printed without support if printed in parts and oriented as in the picture below. Bakery orientation

It is possible to add glass to the display case on the pastry display counter by sliding in a plastic sheet in the groove, no glue is needed. However, the sides doesn't have any groves, so you do need to use glue if you want to attach plastic sheets also there.

I didn't find a plastic sheet or box big enough for the front of the display case at home, so I used a bottle.

Pastry display counter

The bottle was quite scratched and should have been a temporary solution but it worked out better than expected. The plastic from the bottle is sturdy and was easy to push through the grooves even though there was a small amount of threading. The scratches doesn't really show unless you look very closely. In the picture above I had to use the flash to get the plastic and some scratches to show at all, if you look at the picture below you can't really see that there is a plastic sheet. Reality is somewhere in between. Bakery scene

The counter can be assembled without glue, however glue might be advisable. I didn't glue my printed counter together yet and so far it has never fallen apart, but it has not been moved around that much so I might change my mind in the future and add some glue at least for the countertop. The countertop and the counter shelf are the same size so you need to print that part twice. For the pastry display counter all three shelves are slightly different, the lower shelf is slightly bigger than the upper while the middle shelf has small supports to hold the glass case in place. You can ofc use a little bit of glue here too if you like so it's easier to move it around.

Below is a short assembly video for the Bakery if you are interested in checking how many parts that are needed for the full set.

Wallpaper

The wall paper is just cut out gift wrapping paper. It's not even glued to the walls, just slid down into the frame together with the walls. Once I have printed different types of walls, which the kids them self will change, it's ofc better to attach the wallpaper properly.

Props

The cash register consists of two parts, register and drawer. It's possible to fit 4-5 coins in the drawer and it is also possible to print small receipts (font size 4) and place in the small receipt holder. Cash register Cash register scene

You can find cakes and biscuits props and how to make them in The Cakes & Biscuits blog post.

Baskets can be downloaded from The cash register and The market

The rolling pins are part of a coming baking set with one adult rolling pin and one for kids. It will hopefully also include dough, cookie cutters and maybe some ingredients and bowls, will see about the last part.

Almost everything in the scenes above is printed except for some plates and also the bigger loaf of bread. Props

The loaf of bread is actually from a "mingle snacks" package from a local store. Mingle mix crackers

Credits for this prop idea completely goes to my kids :)

The baguettes will be included in a brick oven set which is almost completed.
