It's early morning and everyone in the small village are still asleep, except for Mr Baker who is working fast to get ready to open The Bakery. The stove is filled with his delicious whole wheat bread, soon ready to be placed in the display case and sold to the towns early risers.
My son decided that he needed a bakery and that I would design it for him . Since he wanted to be a part of the process I said yes and let him decide how it should look like. The result is at least close to his wishes (after steering him away from some of the more impossible ideas he originally had).
My son also wanted a pottery, family house and a blacksmith, so to save space, the houses had to be possible to put on top of each other. The goal was also to make it easy to change walls later and maybe even to connect multiple houses to create unique floor plans.
First draft
Right now I am still at the first house iteration and am trying to keep it simple. This will become a Bakery for our little town but could just as well be any other type of house since it's a pretty generic design.
The house consists of a frame, five-six walls, a door frame, a door, two window frames (inside, outside) and an awning. The window frames needs to be glued on since I wanted it to be possible to cut a thin transparent plastic and place as a window.
All files will be uploaded to Thingiverse as soon as I have verified their printability.
Please send me an email if you have any ideas of improvements or would like to see an update to some part.
